Profile

Eric has about 15 years of analytics and data science experience in the financial services, start-ups and web analytics. Prior joining ISS, he was an Enterprise Data Scientist with Thomson Reuters and was also director of quantitative data science in a China fintech start-up with 4 million users. He has also experience in web analytics as a partner in a Malaysian start-up. He has diverse financial experiences in risk management, quantitative analytics and energy economics as a vice-president with Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered bank, BP Oil and London Metal Exchange.

He has spoken at the Strata and Hadoop conferences in Beijing and Singapore on the semantic web and graphical databases. He also conducted conference workshops for Sentiment analysis in Finance and published papers on predictive analytics and sentiment analysis.
