As the CEO of Synapxe, Siew Ying plays a key role in the master-planning and development of Health Technology to advance healthcare transformation, and improve population health amidst a dynamic and complex health eco-system. She is responsible for initiatives that digitalise and transform Singapore’s healthcare capabilities, support the optimisation of healthcare resources, secure health data, as well as improve the patient experience and health outcomes.

Siew Ying entered the Public Service in 1999. Prior to her appointment in Synapxe, she was Deputy Secretary (Policy) in the Ministry of Health where she led the development of systems planning, finance and corporate policies. Through her career, Siew Ying has held various appointments in the National Population and Talent Division under the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Defence, and the Defence Science and Technology Agency.
