Alphonsus PANG

Director, Organisation Planning and Development


Alphonsus last held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore. As the COO, he was responsible for overall corporate affairs and his responsibilities covered human resource management and development, financial resource management, corporate planning and performance management, corporate communications and relations matters and the provision of shared services. Concurrently, Alphonsus was also appointed the Chief Information Officer for AGC where he was responsible for the planning, implementation and support of information technology solutions for the organisation.

Before joining AGC, Alphonsus was the Director, Corporate Services Division, Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), where he was responsible for the shared services, administration, corporate communications, business excellence and security for the more than 3,000 strong defence scientists and engineers in DSTA.

Prior to this, he held the various appointments in the Ministry of Defence, with responsibilities covering defence finance, management systems, corporate development and other defence technology portfolios.

Alphonsus was President of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), 2009 to 2011. He was elected a Fellow of the SCS in 2009 and in 2014, was conferred the 17thHonorary Fellow of SCS.

Alphonsus is also a member of the Information Technology Advisory Committee of Nanyang Polytechnic and UniSIM’s ICT Programme Advisory Committee in the School of Science and Technology.

He graduated from NUS with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and has a Post-graduate Diploma from the Institute of System Science, NUS. He has attended management executive programs from Harvard and Stanford Universities including the Program for Management Development from Harvard Business School in 2004.

He is married with 3 children.
