NICF- Benefits Planning and Realisation for Project Managers

Overview

The business of managing projects has been constantly evolving over the years. As the project environment and technology change, there is a vast increase in complexity and expectations. To respond to these changes and increased complexity, there is an urgency to equip project managers with greater breadth of skills beyond the traditional technical project management skills tied to using the triple constraints of Scope, Cost and Schedule as a measure of project success.

Today’s business leaders’ and stakeholders’ expectations have risen and the idea of project success has expanded beyond the triple constraints to include project outcomes, alignment to business goals, benefits/values and satisfaction. This new normal of project management has to be addressed.

Focusing on business benefits realisation and the associated people’s side of change management, this 3-day course equips project managers and project stakeholders (including project team members) with the knowledge and skills to identify, define, plan, track, and report project benefits. It will also provide a strong foundation to ensure alignment of strategic goals of the business with a well-planned change management strategies that will enable greater success in the realisation of the project benefits.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn 19.5 PDUs (PM: 3.5, Leadership: 8, Business: 8) that can be used to maintain your PMP® credential. Note that for the purpose of PDU reporting by those with PMP® credentials, the PMI REP Provider Number of ISS is “2339”.
