Who Should Attend
This course is targeted at participants who have completed the course Service Design or Graduate Certificate in Managing Products and Platforms with NUS-ISS and are interested to pursue deeper applications of the topics in their work. It will provide coaching through resources, tools and expert feedback throughout the process of applying Service Design practices to the workplace.
Participants will benefit most if they are working on projects or workplace applications related to service design and would like to utilize the Clinic to further develop their deliverables.
The coaching clinic would benefit managers, owners and team leads in areas of product & service development, service design, customer experience, innovation, user experience, marketing etc.
This Clinic is to be requested in Teams of 2 to 5 for project-based or work application coaching.
Pre-requisites
Participants must complete the course Service Design before the Coaching Clinic session unless they already completed the Graduate Certificate in Designing and Managing Products. The Clinic is recommended to be held within 6-12 months of the last completion date of respective course.
What Will Be Covered
The suggested content and topics of the Coaching Clinic sessions are outlined below. Participating organisations can discuss and fine-tune the scope and deliverables with NUS-ISS prior to the start of the clinic.

- Scoping and identifying design challenge
- User research & synthesis
- Customer journey mapping
- Service blueprint
- Ideation & Prototyping
- Implementation considerations
Coaching Clinic Service Package :
- One package of Coaching Clinic Service consists of 6 x half-day sessions.
- Each session is 3 hours, either in the morning 9am to 12pm or afternoon 2 to 5pm. Detailed scheduling will be pre-arranged with the participants.
- Each clinic is organisation-specific and requires a team of 2 to 5 participants to run.
- Participating organisations may sign up for multiple clinics if the scope is beyond one clinic.
- Participants may be required to complete a pre-clinic assessment prior to the session.

Course Confirmation
All classes are subject to confirmation and NUS-ISS will send an acceptance email to participants one week prior to the commencement date. Confirmed registrants are to attend and complete all lectures, class exercises, workshops and assessments (where applicable). Additionally, all responses to feedbacks and surveys conducted by NUS-ISS and its partners must be submitted. All training and assessments will be delivered as described in the course webpage.
