Digital Product Management Bootcamp (DPMB) is an introductory course to product management. It is designed to equip individuals with the skills to leverage product thinking to their field of work. This 1-day course provides a comprehensive overview of some of the key principles and relevant industry practices. It serves as a starting point for those seeking to embark on a product management learning journey. 

This course is part of the Digital Products & Platforms series offered by NUS-ISS. After completing this training, participants are recommended to continue their journey through additional modular product management courses that will stack to a Graduate Certificate in Designing and Managing Products and Platforms and the Master of Technology in Software Engineering degree at NUS-ISS.

There are no work experience prerequisites to attend this course. 



What Will Be Covered

Introduction to Product Management 

Understand the impact of digital transformation and the shift of traditional project management to product management. Learn the basics of products and services and understand why it is important to adopt a product-thinking mindset. Get to know the digital product lifecycle and the NUS-ISS Product Management framework. Learn the importance of leading your product team, including how to coordinate cross-functional collaboration and manage stakeholder relationships to drive product success.

Participants must bring their internet-enabled computing device (laptops, tablet etc) with power charger to access and download course materials.

Participants have to meet a minimum attendance rate of 75% and are required to pass the assessment to be issued a Certificate of Completion.

Course Confirmation

All classes are subject to confirmation and NUS-ISS will send an acceptance email to participants one week prior to the commencement date. Confirmed registrants are to attend and complete all lectures, class exercises, workshops and assessments (where applicable). Additionally, all responses to feedbacks and surveys conducted by NUS-ISS and its partners must be submitted. All training and assessments will be delivered as described in the course webpage.
