NICF- Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®)

Overview

Understanding the difference between Programme Management and Project Management is key for a programme manager to effectively execute and deliver programme outcomes. Often times, programmes are treated as just a large scale project and executed like a project. Programmes are NOT projects.

MSP® is the international best-practice model for programme management and it complements any project management methodology. The MSP® provides the process, skills and standards to guide programme delivery in a complex and dynamic business environment.

The MSP® course will provide participants with a theoretical and practical knowledge of MSP. It also prepares them for the MSP® Foundation examination and the MSP® Practitioner examination respectively.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn 27.75 PDUs (PM:19.5, Leadership: 3.75, Business: 4.5) that can be used to maintain your PMP® credential. Note that for the purpose of PDU reporting by those with PMP® credentials, the PMI REP Provider Number of ISS is “2339”.
