NICF- AIIM Business Process Management Master (BPMC)

Overview

There is an increase in the demand for Business Process Management (BPM) professionals to address today's dynamic business needs. Business processes are crucial components in a business’ well-being and is key in enabling a business to stand out and apart from the competition. Business processes that deliver operational efficiency, business visibility and agility give the enterprise the edge to compete in a low cost, dynamic way and to view change as an opportunity.

This course will provide an introductory overview to the different aspects of a BPM project lifecycle. These include business case development, project planning, stakeholder analysis, business analysis, process modelling, process redesign, technology implementation, change management, process monitoring and improvement. It will also provide an introduction to ethics in BPM, organisational BPM maturity measurement and improvement, as well as an understanding of the different technologies available to carry out BPM.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn:

  • 26 Professional Development hours (PD Hours) for the initial CBAP® application and Continuing Development Units (CDUs) for re-certification under IIBA®
  • 29.5 Professional Development Units (PDUs) (PM: 22, Leadership: 3.5, Business: 4) that can be used to maintain your PMP® credential.

Note that for the purpose of PDU reporting by those with PMP®credentials, the PMI REP Provider Number of ISS is “2339”.

Certificate of Completion
The ISS Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who have attended at least 75% of the course.

WSQ Assessment

  • Broad Schedule of Assessment: There will be workshops as well as an in-class quiz over the 5-day class
  • Passing Criteria: The group workshop will be evaluated for the team effort. The individual quiz (scenario-based) to evaluate the understanding of the key takeaway, the passing marks for both group workshop as well as the individual quiz ≥ 50%
  • Assessment Method: Group workshop will be based on the case study and team will work on the solution and present it together; Individual assessment – open-book quiz

Upon passing the assessment, Statement of Attainment (SOAs) will be issued to certify that the participant has passed the following Competency Units:

  • IT-CIO-518S-1 Implement change management processes
  • IT-CIO-513S-1 Manage innovation and continuous improvement

Participants may need to attend additional coaching sessions and re-assessments if they do not pass the required competency units. ISS reserves the right not to disclose any information on the course assessment process.

AIIM BPM Master Certificate

Successful completion of this course and its certification assessment* will lead participants to the international AIIM BPM Master certification. The AIIM BPM Master Certificate is an internationally recognised certificate administered by Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), an international organisation founded in 1943 with more than 65,000 members worldwide. Members include user organisations, consultants and vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, PWC consultants, Capgemini consultants, Amazon as well as finance companies (e.g. insurance), government organisations and other users.

*The certificate assessment consists of:
  • An online MCQ exam
  • An individual case-study assignment to be submitted within 3 months of the course
