1. What is NUS-ISS Virtual Learning Festival 2020?
In its sixth year, the annual Learning Day organised by the Institute of Systems Science at National University of Singapore (NUS-ISS), continues to deliver a digitalised and immersive experience at the four-day NUS-ISS Virtual Learning Festival 2020. The event, held in conjunction with the nationwide SkillsFuture Month, will be presented live online from 11 to 14 August. Themed ‘Empowering Skills and Career Transformation’, the event line-up includes over 40 complimentary sessions by NUS-ISS lecturers and guest speakers; engaging virtual exhibits and a live band performance by home grown musicians Jack and Rai.
Nine key tracks in artificial intelligence; cybersecurity, digital transformation & leadership, digital products & platforms, digital marketing & design thinking, data science, smart health, smart systems and career transformation are curated to help you understand the skills and competencies required to pivot towards the digital economy.
2. How do I sign up for the various sessions?
You may sign up for the individual sessions via Eventbrite. The webinar links will be shared with you closer to date. You can access the Eventbrite link

3. Is there an event guide or somewhere to check what time the sessions are being held
The timing for each session is posted on NUS-ISS Learning Festival 2020 page at
https://www.iss.nus.edu.sg/learning-festival, under the programme tab. Do note that the programme may be subjected to changes.
4. Can I register for multiple sessions?
Participants may register for multiple sessions via Eventbrite by selecting the webinar sessions which they are interested in.
5. What should I do if I face problems logging into the session?
Please do the following steps:
i. Check on your internet connection
ii. Ensure that you have the latest version of Zoom installed.
iii. Reboot your computer system.

6. How do I get in touch if I am interested in a course/programme?

7. Will I get a copy of the presentation of all the online sessions?
A copy of the presentation of the webinars will be shared with participants who have completed the post event feedback form. Do allow us 5 working days after the event to consolidate the materials.
8. Will the presentation recording be shared with us?
The presentations will be recorded and will be posted on our Youtube Channel at least 2 weeks after the event. You may subscribe to the channel via

9. How do I do the feedback to get the presentation slides?
Once you leave the session, you will be directed to a survey page in your browser. If you did not get the survey page, a link will be sent out at the end of each day to all attendees via the email you used to register for the session. So do keep a lookout in your inbox.
10. If my questions for the sessions are not answered, will I get an answer later?
Due to time constraint, the speakers might not be able to answer all your questions. If you have any burning questions for the speaker, drop us an email at
issmarketing@nus.edu.sg and we will direct them to the relevant speakers.
11. How long does it take for me to get the slides after giving the feedback?
Please give us 5 working days to consolidate the materials before sending it out to you.
12. How do I watch the live band performance?
You can catch the live band performance on Day four of the festival at 6pm. Simply register
here and a confirmation link will be sent to you.
