This programme is aimed at equipping individuals with basic coding abilities, the full technology stack, to design and create an internet app for your tech product. Participating businesses are required to have clear articulation of their internet app, while apprentices are expected to be capable, under supervision, to contribute to its development.

Interested candidate should have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, or first complete The Coder in You course and be recommended to advance to PCP for Full Stack Software Developer course.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Use a full stack approach to build web applications
  • Create web servers and expose services as ReSTful APIs
  • Model application data for RDBMSs and document-oriented DBs
  • Design and build real-time applications
  • Secure and optimise web applications
  • Debug and search for solutions independently
  • Individuals interested in building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of their business idea
  • Professionals and starters interested in pursuing a career in full stack web development
You should be:
  • A Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Newly hired and nominated by an eligible participating company for the PCP
  • Not in a similar job role prior to joining the PCP
At the same time, the participating company must be:
  • Registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Demonstrate a need for FullStack Developers within the company
  • Issue a valid employment contract
  • Be able to provide structured on-the-job training


  • A basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Candidate must successfully complete Pre-requisite Assessment prior to admittance into the Full Stack Foundation course. Candidates are also advised to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript on their own if they are not familiar; or enroll in ISS The Coder in You course.
The course will be conducted via 45 days of classroom training (including seminars and clinics) and 4 months of structured apprenticeship and mentoring.

Various Funding Schemes

1Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy

  • Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.

Workfare Training Support (WTS)

  • Singaporeans aged 35 and above (13 years and above for Persons With Disabilities) and earn not more than $2,000 per month, may enjoy subsidies up to 95% of the course fees.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • SME-sponsored employees (Singaporean Citizens and PRs) may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees. For more details, click on Enhanced Training Support for SMEs.

Course attendee is eligible for only one funding scheme.

#For company-sponsored participants, companies would need to pay upfront 30% of the course fee to NUS-ISS and submit a training grant application for the remaining eligible subsidies, and subsequently a claim in Skillsconnect. For details, please refer to Skillsconnect guide 4.1 & 5.1.

      70% funding for Singaporeans and Singapore PRs aged 21 and above; additional 20% funding for Singaporeans aged 40 years and above

      NOTE: This is NOT APPLICABLE to those who are serving the Singapore government and its related agencies or organisations. 

      Salary Support (during PCP programme)

      • 70% of monthly salary capped at S$4,000 per month for Singaporeans and Singapore PRs below 40 years
      • 90% of monthly salary capped at S$6,000 per month for Singaporeans 40 years and above OR at least 6 months unemployed

      Career Support Programme (after PCP programme)

      Career Support Programme (CSP) by Workforce Singapore available after the PCP programme (for SMEs offering salary at least $3,600/mth and non-SMEs offering salary at least $4,000/mth).

Certificate of Completion

The ISS Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who have attended at least 75% of the course.


Participants will be assessed based on their aptitude, attitude and the quality of deliverables produced.

Participants may need to attend additional coaching sessions and re-assessments if they do not pass. ISS reserves the right not to disclose any information on the course assessment process.

Course Confirmation

All classes are subject to confirmation and ISS will send an acceptance email to participants one week prior to the commencement date. Confirmed registrants are to attend and complete all lectures, class exercises, workshops and assessments (where applicable). Additionally, all responses to feedbacks and surveys conducted by ISS and its partners must be submitted. All training and assessments will be delivered as described in the course webpage.
