LIM Hooi Ling

Chief, MTech IT Leadership Programme


Hooi Ling focuses on teaching and consulting in e-Government and strategic IT management programmes at ISS. She has over 20 years of experience in IT planning, implementation and promotion at both national and enterprise levels. Prior to joining ISS, Hooi Ling worked in government and commercial organisations heading IT, marketing and corporate development functions. She has also been involved in strategic IT initiatives for government, education, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, construction as well as tourism sectors.

Hooi Ling actively contributes to the IT community. She is a Fellow of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), Singapore’s leading infocomm and digital media society, and serves on the SCS Thought Leadership Committee. She has also served as the Treasurer and Council member of the IT Management Association of Singapore, a Singapore-based association of IT leaders.

  • Bachelor of Science (First-Class Honours) in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne
