Ng Wee Wei is currently the Managing Director with responsibility for Accenture's Health and Public Service business in ASEAN. She also leads the Defence and Public Safety practice across Asia Pacific in Accenture.
Wee Wei joined Accenture in 1995. She spent the majority of her career working with government and government linked companies. Wee Wei’s first project was to enable the corporatization of the Public Utilities Board. Her other significant government projects include the development of the New Financial Systems for the whole of government in Singapore, the development of School Cockpit which is a central system used by all pre-tertiary schools in Singapore and the development of E-HR as part of the HR Transformation program with the Singapore Ministry of Defence. Recently, she also led the Accenture team to deliver the OneService@SG system to facilitate joint collaboration across agencies to deliver better municipal services to citizens and residents of Singapore.
Wee Wei has authored several white papers and news articles on a range of topics from Delivering Public Service Value to the opportunities presented by the Digital Disruption across several domains, including Education/Employment as well as Public Safety.
Wee Wei is a champion of workplace diversity and inclusion. Her contributions in gender diversity helped Accenture Singapore to be a leader in establishing a highly diverse workforce across all levels of the company.
Wee Wei is currently part of Accenture’s CEO Advisory Forum, a team of 100 global leaders, meeting and advising Accenture’s CEO on a regular basis. Outside of Accenture, Wee Wei served as the Honorary Secretary of the IT Management Association, a Singapore-based association of IT leaders, for the last 3 years.
