Organisations increasingly rely on agile and hybrid delivery approaches to execute complex digital initiatives in environments of uncertainty and rapid change. However, many project and delivery professionals still face challenges balancing the flexibility of agile practices with the governance expectations for scope, schedule, cost, stakeholder management, and risk control. This course addresses that gap by equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills to plan, execute, monitor, and govern digital projects using agile and hybrid approaches while maintaining project-level discipline and transparency.
Participants will learn how to translate project objectives into structured backlogs, adaptive delivery plans, and governance-ready performance reporting. The course covers backlog and requirements management, estimation and forecasting, agile project planning, iterative risk management, stakeholder engagement, delivery monitoring using agile metrics and Agile Earned Value Management (Agile EVM), and the application of AI to support project planning, execution, and decision-making. Psychological safety is also explored as a critical enabler of collaboration, innovation, and early risk identification.
Across six intensive days, participants work through realistic project scenarios, hands-on workshops, simulations, risk analysis exercises, and performance measurement labs. They will develop practical project artifacts, delivery plans, governance approaches, and risk management routines that can be directly adapted to their own organisational contexts.
Designed for project managers, product owners, Scrum Masters, delivery managers, business analysts, technical leads, PMO professionals, and business leaders, the course enables participants to confidently lead agile and hybrid projects, communicate delivery performance effectively, make informed trade-offs between value, risk, and resources, and contribute to stronger organisational project outcomes.
