Overview
Managers increasingly lead diverse teams whose roles, workflows and ways of working are being reshaped by digital technologies, AI adoption, hybrid work and changing organisational demands. Sustaining team performance in this environment requires more than technical expertise. Managers need to understand their own leadership impact, design teams intentionally, address team dynamics and develop the capabilities required for changing work.
This course equips managers to lead with greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence, design effective team structures, roles and ways of working, and diagnose the underlying causes of team-performance breakdowns. Learners develop practical approaches to strengthen trust, constructive conflict, commitment and accountability, while applying talent-management practices such as hiring, onboarding, coaching and capability development.
Participants also examine how AI-augmented and hybrid work affect role clarity, task allocation, coordination, performance visibility and decision boundaries. By the end of the course, they will be better able to adapt their leadership responses to sustain team learning, resilience, inclusion and continuous improvement across different levels of digital and AI-enabled organisational maturity.
