The Graduate Certificate in Intelligent Consumer Analytics (GC ICA) is a graduate-level programme designed for business professionals and analytics practitioners seeking to develop end-to-end capabilities across the consumer value chain. Participants will learn to identify new business opportunities, enhance customer experiences, accelerate product innovation and optimise business operations using analytics, Generative AI and Agentic AI.

The programme comprises four modular courses and a Practice Module that integrates consumer business models, consumer analytics and AI through industry-inspired, problem-based learning. Participants will develop practical skills to solve real-world business challenges spanning service, product and operational domains by combining analytics with AI-assisted decision making, scenario evaluation and business execution.

GC ICA is stackable towards the Master of Technology in Enterprise Business Analytics (MTech EBAC), providing a flexible pathway for professionals pursuing advanced qualifications in intelligent consumer analytics.

Objectives

The main objective of the Practice Module is for participants to integrate the knowledge and skills gained from the four component courses and apply them holistically to solve real-world consumer business challenges. Through a combination of a Practice Project and an Examination, participants will demonstrate their ability to leverage consumer analytics, AI and business thinking to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that support evidence-based decision making, evaluate strategic alternatives and recommend actionable business interventions.

Intended Audience

This Practice Module is targeted at participants who wish to complete the certification requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Intelligent Consumer Analytics.

Prerequisites

Participants should have completed, or possess equivalent knowledge of, the four component courses within the Graduate Certificate in Intelligent Consumer Analytics.

Participants should also be comfortable using AI-assisted tools, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, as thinking partners for analysing information, generating alternatives, evaluating trade-offs, supporting decision making and solving complex business problems.

Components

There are two parts in the Practice Module.

1. Practice Project

Participants will undertake at least one industry-inspired consumer business project to demonstrate mastery of the concepts and techniques covered in the four component courses. The Practice Project requires approximately 10 man-days of effort and may be completed individually or in teams over several weeks.

Participants will be expected to frame business problems, identify and analyse relevant consumer, operational and market data, apply analytics and AI techniques, generate and evaluate alternative strategies, assess trade-offs, prioritise recommendations and develop practical recommendations that deliver measurable business value.
To strengthen real-world analytical capability, the project may also include complementary assessments AI-assisted decision-making simulations, scenario planning, what-if analysis and AI-supported executive decision briefings, reinforcing participants' ability to work effectively with AI as a thinking partner, decision partner and execution partner.

2. Examination
Each participant is required to sit for an examination on a stipulated date and time.
The overall grade will be based on both the Practice Project and the Examination.
