NUS-ISS Learning Day 2019, as part of the nationwide SkillsFuture Festival, takes its 5th consecutive year to new level with the launch of an intuitive NUS-ISS Jobs and Skills portal service that is set to help redefine the way that people look at jobs and skills development for Industry 4.0.

More Quality and Industry Relevant Initiatives to Prepare Workers for Industry 4.0

Looking ahead, the Institute of Systems Science at NUS (NUS-ISS) signed two MoUs with Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP). Under this MOU, NUS-ISS will collaborate with NP and TP to recognise NP’s new Specialist Diploma in Business & Decision Analytics, and TP’s Specialist Diploma in Big Data Analytics offered under the SkillsFuture Work-Study Post Diploma Programme (previously known as the SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme). Selected modules can stack towards NUS-ISS’s Master of Technology (MTech) programmes.

NUS-ISS partners SMA and IAS to launch the Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing and Content Creation

The MOU signifies the partners’ commitment to work closely to identify digital skills gaps in the industry, supporting organisations and enabling working professionals to deepen their competencies in the areas of digital marketing and content creation. The Professional Certificate is supported and funded by SkillsFuture Singapore.

Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre at the NUS Institute of Systems Science collaborates with Access to Information programme Bangladesh, in partnership with Temasek Foundation International

Following a successful programme delivered between 2014 and 2016, this tripartite collaboration aims to support the Digital Bangladesh Vision 2021 and Bangladesh’s stellar work in tracking United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programme is designed to strengthen Public Administration by leveraging Data Analytics for decision making.
